Overview:

Because we live in this world for such a brief time, we view our lives as more part of a river than a stand-alone lake.  Our past, present and future family is that river.  Heritage and legacy both are important to us.  First, we are grateful for the heritage in which we came.  Secondly, we believe that we live to serve and wish to leave a family legacy that honors our God, our fore-fathers, and our family name.  Our Sztanyo family has now lived in the USA for 5 generations.  The site is designed to recognize and archive for our family and others tributes, themes and information that is important and of value to us.  Explore and enjoy and please sign the guest book.

The Sztanyo's came to America when Anton sailed into New York in 1905.  The Slovakian spelling of our name was likely Stanyo and since the Hungarians added the "z", our family name remains unique with few sharing it in the States. This site is maintained as a tribute to those who are responsible for our families settling, growth, reputation and legacy in America.
