The Sztanyo's came to America when Anton sailed into New York in 1905. The Slovakian spelling of our name was likely Stanyo and since the Hungarians added the "z", our family name remains unique with few sharing it in the States. This site is maintained as a tribute to those who are responsible for our families settling, growth, reputation and legacy in America.
